Simple Raisins Cake


Ingredients

200g plain flour
100g sugar
150g butter/margarine
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence/powder
150-200 mls water
some raisins

Preparation

1. Sift the plain flour and baking powder together in a mixing bowl.

2. Rub in the butter with fingers to fine breadcrumbs.

3. Add in sugar and vanilla. Pour in the water gradually to form a dropping consistency.

4. Mix in the raisins.

5. Greased the baking tin with butter.

6. Bake at 180 degrees C or gas number 6 about 40 minutes or till cooked.
